About Me

I have always been into crafts. From an early age my mom taught me how to knit. At the age of 16 I knitted a christening gown for my niece. This took ages with over 400 stitches on the needle. I often used to knit cardigans for Christmas presents.  I also enjoy sewing and cross stitching even though this takes a long time to complete anything. The one year I cross stitched all my Christmas cards.

Then I discovered card making and scrapbooking!

I did a scrapbook of our wedding in 2004, I also made all the wedding stationary. I do a scrapbook for every holiday we have. They are a great way of keeping the memories of events and holidays. I think it has more meaning with the journals you write along side the photo. When we are on holiday I am always looking for items I can use in the scrapbooks.

I have been selling my handmade cards to my family and friends for some years now. When I first started I invested in kits with every intention of using them, but they stayed in their boxes for months only coming back out to look at them, mainly because I had forgotten what to do with them by the time I got them home. I started watching the craft shows and got some ideas. The rest as they say is history.

I do some of the local craft fayres as I like to see peoples reactions when they see my work. I always think it is a good sign when other stall holders come and buy cards from me.

I am always on the look out for something new and different.
